I hope everyone had the most wonderful Thanksgiving holiday yesterday! I woke up at my serene room at Hotel LeVeque here in Columbus, Ohio before checking out to enjoy a day of festivities around town. I have to give major credit to the ownership behind the hotel for their ability to curate a nearly soundless, sleep experience -- if you ever come to Columbus and need a quiet room, request Room 724 (it is between the ice machine and the electrical/housekeeping rooms, with the back wall being an air space between the next door theater).
As for Thanksgiving itself, I was counting all my blessings from the day and was humbled by the idea of all my friends, family, loved ones as well as my tremendous career opportunities. God has been abundantly gracious to me! And, as we enter into the thick of the holiday season, I want to make sure I especially wake up each morning and think about all I have ALREADY been given. Since today is "Black Friday," I know today is the day I supposed to think about all the things I don't have but I am trying to relish the things I do have.
Irrespective of how you spend today, I sincerely hope your holiday season is filled with joy! Here's to many terrific memories!
