I have, for the longest time, avoided Twitter simply because I have seen several friends -- and perfect strangers -- get fired over what they perceive to be innocuous tweets. In order to fully avoid this issue, I just didn't have one; however, my friend Betsy Fisher Martin (the former Executive Producer for the legendary Meet The Press) said I should have one in order to get more attention from television bookers.
