Since moving to D.C., I have been remiss about updating my voter registration card, but I finally remembered to send in the form and my new card arrived two weeks later. Just in time for the November 6th elections! Now, I don't want to get political on here, but I do think it is important to vote. and participate in society. If you live in D.C., you can actually register day-of and, in fact you can vote early as I did today. Click here to find out how to register to vote in D.C.
Also, for those of you who want to hear me discuss other things you can do this fall -- which have nothing to do with politics AT ALL -- be sure to tune into ABC's Let's Talk Live this Friday, October 26th, at 10 am to discuss the best fall cocktails. My very good friend Todd Thrasher will be joining me to highlight some of the cocktails which he will have at his newest restaurant Potomac Distilling Company(his other restaurants are the speakeasy PX in Old Town Alexandria and Eamonn's, a "Dublin chipper"). It will be yet another new spot on D.C.'s hot AF The Wharf and will be a mix of tiki bar, as well as rum distillery. Read this awesome article in the New York Times here. Todd will also highlight some of my favorite fall cocktails at Spoken English inside The Line Hotel (where Todd acts as beverage consultant).
Hope y'all tune in and thanks, as always for your continued support!! Xx!
