Located in central Ohio’s beautiful Amish country, The Mohicans is a property focused on six treehouses and rusti-chic cabins.  Two of these stunning treehouses were designed by Pete Nelson, star of Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters.

The resort aims to fulfills a need to slow down and reconnect with the earth, nature and the elements, not to mention experiencing one's very own childhood nostalgia of staying in a tree house.  (Think camping but with indoor plumbing.)  Towels are provided, but personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, ect.) are not provided in any of the cabins and there is no such thing as room service.  Be prepared to bring your own food, drink and extra towels for canoeing or other water activities that you may be enjoying in the area.

Rates start at $260 a night and you can find more information about the individual cabins here:  http://www.themohicans.net/reservations--info.html.
