Following a hot 2017 for the UK brand The Hoxton, with the successful opening of its fourth property, The Hoxton, Paris, in August, The Hoxton is poised for an even more exciting 2018 as it gears up to take on the United States with not one but three new hotels in Williamsburg, New York; Portland, Oregon; and Los Angeles, California.
First up is Williamsburg.
The Hoxton, Williamsburg
The Hoxton’s highly anticipated first US opening, The Hoxton, Williamsburg is located on the site of the former Rosenwach factory, the maker of the iconic wooden water towers that scatter the New York skyline. (Photo above is of a common area rendering.) The hotel will have 175 rooms, half of which have floor to ceiling windows framing views of the Manhattan skyline. Like all The Hoxton hotels, it will have vibrant public spaces including three restaurants, a terrace, courtyard spaces (photos below), and an incredible rooftop bar. Ennismore Design Studio worked with Soho House on the public areas to reconstruct the original carriage house which was formerly on the site into an architectural feature within the lobby. Situated in an iconic building dating back to 1906, The Hoxton, Portland will be The Hoxton’s second US opening.
