Next review set: CDG + Air France

For anyone who has followed my travels the last two years, it goes without saying that Air France's new business class is my literal favorite way to travel commercial. Every time I board, whether I am in IAD, JFK or CDG, I always feel like I've come home: the staff remember my name; from the baggage handlers to the ticket desk, they all smile without prompting, no matter the hour; the service onboard is impeccable; the food is the best I've had 35,000 feet in the air (and that's really saying a lot considering how much I travel); and I never run out of entertainment -- or wine -- to keep me busy while I am doing my best workaholic typing!
So, whenever I get an invite to go onboard, I always say yes -- even if it means juggling my schedule. Such is the situation I find myself in 10 days out of a great trip to Paris.

The first week in February, I will be headed off to Paris again! YES!! I will be joining Jean-Marc Janaillac, the Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM (as well as Chairman of Air France), Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO of Groupe ADP (the owners of Charles de Gaulle Airport), and Franck Terner, the CEO of Air France to tour and celebrate the 20th anniversary of its hub at CDG.
Some new things, in advance, that I especially want to check out include Hall M, where the largest Business class lounge in the Air France-KLM network is located at Terminal 2E in CDG.
Spanning over 3,000 sq., this new lounge designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, has plenty of hot food, snacks and beverages, a Clarins beauty care and massage service, shower facilities, Wi-Fi access, touch screens and self-service computers.
Instant Paris also recently opened for travelers with long connections -- something that is especially key for those travelers who require a visa to leave CDG. Before Instant Paris opened, folks had to sleep at the airport and had no ready access to a hotel.
