Next review set: Renaissance Paris République

There are two cities in the world which, whenever I get an invite to, I never turn down: London and Paris. London, for me, makes obvious sense since my family is there, but for me Paris is the great dream ... always and forever. So I am thankful to have been invited over to review the newest hotel property in the Marriott family: the Renaissance Paris République.

Located in the 19th Arrondissement, a short walk from the Canal Saint Martin and close to the Haut-Marais neighborhood, the Renaissance Paris République is in a lively, cosmopolitan part of Paris, a place of memory and history. Reconfigured by Parisian architect Eric Haour, the former office building has retained its unique raised porthole-style windows, and now has nine floors of hotel rooms, arestaurant, a bar, a spa, three meeting rooms and three levels of car parking spread over3,500 sq m.

I'm particularly excited about this chance to explore an arrondissement I have never been to: the 19th. Be sure to tune into the blog next month for a full re-cap of the hotel, the area and, of course, the amazing food of France!
