St. Regis Bora Bora

I have a hard time comprehending it's FALL (!) and that my time to go to the luxurious St. Regis Bora Bora is nearly upon me. It feels like just yesterday it was July and I had accepted the invitation to join one of my favorite hotel groups in the South Pacific.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of The St. Regis Bora Bora, one of the most coveted vacation destinations in the world, which opened in June 2006. The 44-acre property, known for its iconic overwater villas – the largest in French Polynesia -- has seen many additions over the years such as the opening of Far Niente Restaurant, the rebranded Miri Miri Spa by Clarins, the Bridal Boutique offering custom designer wedding gowns by Cecilie Melli and the growth of the resort’s private Lagoonarium.

I'm really looking forward to this trip in, what has turned out, to be a year where I have visited several of the most popular honeymoon destinations in the world ... good advance work for my future state of wedded bliss!
