Happy Birthday to Me! Cheers to another wonderful year!

When I think of all the whiplash inducing changes to my life these past 12 months, from the decadent food to the glorious hotels to the series of back-to-back-to-back penultimate trips to far-flung destinations around the world, I am deeply moved by where life has taken me. I could never have imagined this life even if I wanted to because so much of this past year has been comprised of things which I didn't even know existed!

And today, as I sit here in the Maldives (I can't believe I am typing that) on my birthday, I thank God for my friendships and the outpouring of love in my life. I am who I am, and have come as far as I have come, because of so many who have cared for me and I am grateful for everything I have been given in this life.

I sincerely hope I value and appreciate, in each moment, the many priceless gifts I carry around in my heart and hope this newest year of my life will be even brighter than all the years before.
