Fashionably positioned on Nine Streets in the heart of the historic city centre, within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and in close distance to The Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum and Royal Palace - 45 year old Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam has consistently modeled itself as "Amsterdam’s only luxuriously eccentric ‘Urban Resort’." This year, to maintain their reputation for luxurious creature comforts, the hotel underwent a grand, practically gut renovation with the goal of both updating and expanding. Once complete, Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam will feature 225 guestrooms and suites.

Now, halfway through an epic 6-9 month renovation, Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam has announced the "Grand Reopening" date of Autumn 2016. 147 new rooms, a new Lobby Lounge named ‘Park at Pulitzer’ complete with new check in experience and the jewel in the Pulitzer crown, the Pulitzer Garden - a serene hideaway - will join the already completed 80 renovated guest rooms, including the beautifully romantic Pulitzer Suite, and four exceptional Collector's Suites (Book Suite, Art Suite, Antique Suite and Music Suite).

Also ready for public consumption is the newly unveiled - Pulitzer Amsterdam’s new restaurant, Jansz and a timeless cocktail lounge, Pulitzer’s Bar.

Thus, with the combination of these new elements as well as the property's dual edge of unrivaled location overlooking the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht canals, and the property’s 400 year, rich past of being the home to flamboyant Dutch aristocrats, this extensive restoration program is certainly one worth visiting.
