Photos from Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, NYC

Very rarely, if ever, is there such disparity between what a hotel looks like and what a hotel feels like. From this picture alone, you can see how impeccable Ludlow Street's newest resident, the Hotel Indigo Lower East Side ("L.E.S."), is with its unparalleled 360 degree views of Manhattan. However, I did not have a great time over-night -- did not sleep at all for a variety of reasons -- not the least of which was someone trying to get into my hotel room at 2 am in the morning. WHAT. IN. THE. WORLD.
Anyway. More on that at a later point.
I do just want to convey the photos I took during my stay, particularly of the Penthouse which just opened this week. It's a massive loft at a great rate of around $4,000 a night. Floor-to-ceiling windows; comfortable bed and furniture; great contemporary design and art; plus eccentric furnishings that express the local flavor and give a voice to the art, street style, galleries, tastes, flavors, libations, sounds, fashions and people of the L.E.S.
Be sure to read the blog at a later date for more info.
