Revealing the largest continent in the world takes time, imagination and focus. After all, Africa is abundantly rich not just in commodities but in culture. From the rock-carved churches of Lalibela and the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti, to awe-inspiring Victoria Falls and the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, it’s hard to know even where to begin.
Thankfully, luxury tour operators Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is putting together the penultimate African safari. Launching in 2017, Africa Revealed: A Journey by Private Jet, February 17 – March 9, 2017, will take guests to seven countries in 21 days, revealing Africa's wildlife, culture and history at their most authentic all within the confines of a private jet, gorgeous accommodations and knowledgeable A&K guides.

Guest will board the A&K plane in Madrid, Spain. The private Boeing 757-200ER jet comes with 50 fully lie-flat, first-class, custom-designed Italian leather seats. Each seat is equipped with a personal massage system, 4-way adjustable headrests and lumbar support, as well as a fully lie-flat bed more than 6.5' long (79” pitch).

Begin in the sands of Ethiopia and continue south through the game-rich reserves of Tanzania and Botswana. Take a trip back in time to Lalibela’s rock-carved churches dating back to the 13th century and meet Lucy, one of the world’s oldest early human fossils. Watch the Great Migration in action across the Serengeti from a hot air balloon and learn about two of Africa’s top predators from a conservation expert. Discover Cape Town by helicopter, boat, cable car and on a winelands tour and take the “flight of the angels” helicopter tour over Victoria Falls. Come face to face with rare mountain gorillas in Uganda and meet the local Batwa people. Experience the peacefulness of the Sahara Desert as you watch the sun rise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by a visit to dazzling Marrakech.

“I’ve been planning safaris for more than 50 years. This is the most comprehensive African journey we’ve ever offered,” explains Abercrombie & Kent Founder, CEO and Chairman Geoffrey Kent. “To fly commercially from the Sahara Desert to Marrakech would require an inconvenient early-morning flight on a propeller plane, followed by a long layover in Casablanca. Instead, our guests enjoy a direct, first-class flight, arriving just in time to enjoy lunch – complete with an Arabian horsemanship show – followed by a leisurely afternoon of shopping or sightseeing.”
