Milk Bar opens in CityCenter DC

If you have been away from social media the last few days, you will have missed the photos of epic lines at CityCenter DC as Christina Tosi's Milk Bar opened on 1090 I Street, NW, on Friday.
This chef/Northern Virginia native cult followers -- Momofuku anyone? -- is sure to create buzz bigger than Georgetown Cupcakes a few miles away. And who knows?! Maybe a Milk Bar t.v. show is in the works ...

In the meantime, with regular hours from 7 am to 12 am every day, you will have plenty of time to snag some fabulous compost cookies, crack pie, cereal milk, b'day truffles and more. Coffee too for your inner caffeine-oholic. And for the truly impatient, you can even order takeout from Postmates.
P.S. Don't forget to buy either one of Christina's two cookbooks for your favorite baker(s), as well as signing up for their email list to hear when/if baking classes will be offered in D.C. as they are in N.Y.C.
