Cunard has long been synonymous with the quest for new discoveries and the epitome of British refinement since the company's first paddle-wheeled steamer, Britannia, crossed the Atlantic in 1840. Today, Cunard offers the only regularly scheduled transatlantic liner service, and they will be debuting their first-ever Blue Note jazz themed cruise, which will debut on Cunard’s flagship, Queen Mary 2, on 29 October 2015.

This very special Transatlantic Crossing headlined by Natalie Cole will also feature intimate jazz performances by Blue Note’s 75th anniversary supergroup, Our Point of View, as well as a Q & A with Grammy® Award winning producer and President of Blue Note, Don Was.

Cunard is beyond excited to host Natalie Cole onboard Queen Mary 2. Her presence, together with the talented musicians of Our Point of View, will be a real treat for our passengers,” states Richard Meadows, President, Cunard, North America. “We believe this collaboration between Blue Note will truly be unforgettable.”

Christened by Her Majesty The Queen in 2004, Cunard Line’s flagship Queen Mary 2 continues an almost 175-year legacy of transatlantic travel. Famous names who have experienced this iconic voyage since 2004 include President George H.W. Bush, Desmond Tutu, James Taylor, Wes Anderson, Tilda Swinton, George Takei, Kim Novak, Uma Thurman, Richard Dreyfuss, John Cleese and Angela Bassett.
