Nestled in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley appellation, boutique hotel Vintners Inn has welcomed guests to its serene escape with culinary gardens, sparkling fountains and vineyard views. Ninety-eight acres add to their European mien, and after a year of construction Vintners Inn has added to its lure with a million dollar renovation.

Included in the refurbishment are all the guestrooms, a brand new lobby, refinished atriums and more. Rhonda Carano, who owns the inn with her husband, Don, has been working passionately with a team of interior designers to create the elegant Italian-inspired aesthetic she had envisioned for the wine country oasis.

While the updated aesthetic is a nod to the old-world charm and romance of Italy, the primary motivation behind the renovation was the establishment’s commitment to its Green Philosophy, which is demonstrated through the addition of energy efficient lighting, electric fireplaces and electric vehicle charging stations. The range of electric vehicle charging options will include both a TESLA High Power Connector and a 60-Amp Universal Charger.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience so joining TESLA’s ‘Destination Charging’ program was an easy decision,” says Percy Brandon, general manager of Vintners Inn.

Vintners Inn is California Green certified and one of only 100 hotels that have attained the Environmentalist Level of certification, the highest level offered by the program.
