Thank you Macon Bistro & Larder

Last night I was very surprised to find myself indulging in some calorific splendor at Macon Bistro & Larder. This D.C. restaurant focusing on authentic southern cuisine is located in upper Northwest near Chevy Chase, Maryland and was definitely one of the better dining experience I have had in D.C. -- and definitely the best in that grid.

I am still so full right now I can barely formulate the words to write a proper review, but perhaps if I go back for lunch today I can properly craft my thoughts as I shovel another round of the fabulous "HOPPIN’ JOHN," made with sea island red peas, carolina gold rice. in my mouth. Actually, no ... wouldn't be prudent ... my pants do not approve!
