Fans of City Tap House will be sure to welcome the addition of Philadelphia based Public House Investments’ latest D.C. restaurant Pennsylvania 6. To be opened later this May in the McPherson Square area, this 265-seat restaurant will have an exclusively American menu which will help diners feel patriotic as they indulge in sublime twists to modern American classics.

Look for foie gras, fish, snails, lobster rolls, lamb and even a roasted bone marrow. Of course, no sane restaurant within a stiletto-capable, walking distance from The White House would fail to include steakhouse fare and Pennsylvania 6 will have classic items along with fresh seafood at the six-seat raw bar.

Featured cocktails include the Grapes of Wrath, made from a combination of bourbon, muddled grapefruit, brandied grapes, house grapefruit liquor and aromatic bitters. Naturally craft beers, as this year's favorite movement in food and beverage, and a long wine list will also be found.

Pennsylvania 6 is located at 1350 I (Eye) Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20005. www.Pennsylvania6dc.com.
