CityCenterDC sugar onslaught is on. With RareSweetsDC’s graceful arrival a few months ago, and Momofuku Milk Bar's esteemed Christina Tosi set for her homecoming later this summer, D.C. residents now have a plethora of talented confectioners to sweeten their palates. Included now to create a near perfect trifecta at CityCenterDC is Bon Appetit Magazine’s newest favorite sweets-shop Dolcezza.

Robb Duncan, co-owner of Dolcezza, will open his artisanal gelato shop next week on April 17th at 904 Palmer Alley. Included in this newest location will be Dolcezza’s unique nitrogen coffee, a new way to enjoy coffee by harnessing high-pressure nitrogen.

Through the use of AC Beverage Inc’s draft beer system, Dolcezza’s nitrogen coffee program will offer fans their favorite cup of coffee with added flavor, elevated caffeine, and a smoother taste. At $5.50 a cup, with an oft times spicy and dark brew, coffee and beer fans will find the marriage of these two beverages similar to a Double IPA or, with the lighter floral blends, more reminiscent of a Belgian Ale.
