Review: Spa at Inn at Perry Cabin

I currently have a cold -- not Coronavirus, just simple stupidity in walking around in 12 degree weather without a coat, scarf or gloves for several days -- and feeling icky just makes me want to hole up in a spa for some rest and relaxation. This got me thinking to some of my best spa visits. Some of my favorite global spas are, of course, the Four Seasons Bosphorus and St. Regis Bora Bora, as well as Jumeriah Maldives, but one of the best spas I have been to recently in the United States is the Spa at Inn at Perry Cabin.
For those who follow my blog, you will note I went to Inn at Perry Cabin to kick-off my new year. Mike and I had the most delightful stay ... so much so we decided to make it an annual tradition. The service is impeccable, as are the rooms, and for those who want to indulge in some nice treatments, I highly recommend the Spa.

The award-winning Spa at Inn at Perry Cabin uses an array of plant-based spa treatments with some herbs sourced directly from the Spa's own garden. Typical spa treatments include facials, body wraps and massages. When I went through the spa menu, I saw they offered a couples massage so I booked that.
On treatment day, we checked into the friendly spa and slipped into super comfortable robes. They are the kind of spa robes which makes you want to purchase them on-the-spot. I refrained, but just barely!
Mike and I chose the Lavender Honey Couples Massage and it was a real treat! Two therapists, one for each of, synchronize the application of massage, then a scrub and then an infusion of honey lotion. I was incredibly relaxed by the aromatherapy of the lavender and after the treatment the lavender continued to provide stress relief. I highly recommend it. Plus my skin was silky smooth, so beautiful.

Something to note. Not everyone who goes to the spa stays at the hotel so if you have any desire to go to the spa, I highly recommend you book early as the treatments fill up quick! Also, for the price, the services are well-worth it.
If you don't want to experience the spa, for those who keen on exercise, the fitness facility is above the spa and it is very modern with a Peloton bike.
